Picnic in a Pandemic

When England first went into lockdown, I was really struck by the comunity spirit. There has been a real shift in focus of people trying to support their small local businesses.

As the restrictions eased in the summer of 2020 I wanted to bring together a dream team of fellow local suppliers who still had services to offer. Not only to showcase some the talented business creatives of Lincolnshire, but also to show people that marking birthdays and celebrations could still be done in a socially distanced way.

The following is the result of that teamwork and utter determination.

I wanted to demonstrate how to elevate an informal event to make it special. The boho vibe keeps the picnic feeling relaxed, while the masses of texture add a lush richness to it all.

And why not splash out on a delicious grazing platter, a three-tiered chocolate masterpiece of a cake and pop the bubbly with five of your nearest and dearest?
